The Foundation will undertake any activities to fulfill its mission, including:
to promote public awareness and knowledge related to the care of ear problems, communicative disorders and preventing measures;
to provide medical and psychological support for the people and their families with ear problems and communicative disorders;
to collaborate with other medical, health care, educational or humanitarian organizations to extend the services in Hong Kong and Mainland China;
to elevate the standard of clinical services in Hong Kong and Mainland China, and to advance therapeutic measures through research and development programs;
to keep medical specialists and paramedical staff in Hong Kong and Mainland China abreast of the latest technologies in care for ear problems and communicative disorders and help maintain a high international standard of managing ear problems and communicative disorders in Hong Kong and mainland China through visiting, exchange or other interflow programs with overseas scholars.

Conducting Workshops in Local Schools
Provide advice for both parents and teachers on speech and language problems commonly found in children, so that early detection of deviation is possible and the rate of a successful diagnosis and recovery can be increased.

Hearing Tests for the Hong Kong Elderly
Conduct hearing tests and otological examinations for senior citizens
Provide hearing aids for senior citizens in financial needs
   
China Service Sub-Committee
Performing Otological Operations in Mainland China
A surgical team will perform otological operations on needy people and children in China
100 operations can be performed during a one-week visit
 
Providing Support for Schools for Deaf Children in China
Arrangements will be made for free hearing aids to be distributed to students attending boarding schools for deaf children in South-Western China. The teachers will receive microphones to assist with their teaching.
Training teachers on the operation and functions of the teaching aids to enhance more effective teaching.
Train technicians to maintain and repair hearing aids at each school for the deaf.
For every HK$1 donated by the Foundation, the State Commission for Education will make a matching donation of ¥$1.
